What is Googolator?Googolator is a small, fast, arbitrary-precision calculator for those times when you can't be bothered waiting for Mathematica to start up. :-) Googolator lets you do exact calculations with arbitrarily large numbers (limited only by memory). It can also input/output numbers in any base from 2 to 36. For example, if you want to know what a googol looks like in base 16 then just type in "out 16; 10^100" and hit return. About a millisecond later you'll get the answer: 1249AD2594C37CEB0B2784C4CE0BF38ACE408E211A7CAAB24308A82E8F10000000000000000000000000 At the moment only integer arithmetic is supported. You can type in real numbers but they'll be truncated, and the "/" operator behaves like DIV. At some stage I plan to support real arithmetic and programmability (loops, if tests, procedures, etc). System requirementsGoogolator is a Carbonized app that runs natively on OS X. It also runs on OS 8.6/9.x if CarbonLib 1.3 or later is installed. Shareware feeGoogolator is shareware, which means you are welcome to try it out before buying it. If you decide to keep it then please pay the shareware fee:
